Step-by-Step Process to Book IELTS Online:

STEP 1. Go to the IDP IELTS website (https://www.ieltsidpindia.com/) and register or log in.

STEP 2. Click on "Register for IELTS.

STEP 3. Select your test type, i.e., choose between computer-based or paper-based, based on your preference.

STEP 4. Select the test module, which includes IELTS Academic, General Training, or other forms (UKVI, A1, B1).

STEP 5. Select your test location; in this case, choose Delhi.

STEP 6. Choose a test date and time slot from the options provided.

STEP 7. Enter your details and upload the necessary documents (passport front and back pages).

STEP 8. Pay the exam fee online.

STEP 9. Get confirmation by email and SMS with your test details.

After your test has been reserved, you will also be able to book your speaking test online. If you fail to book within the window, one will be allotted to you by default.

For Offline Registration:

• Go to the nearest IDP IELTS centre in Delhi.
• Bring a copy of your passport (front and back) and a signed declaration form.
• The staff will help you finish the registration and choose your test slot.

The IELTS exam fee is an essential requirement for all candidates. Though it's advisable to be certain of your IELTS test date before reserving a place, candidates may sometimes require cancellations or rescheduling based on unexpected events. IDP accepts cancellations and rescheduling at specific charges.

IELTS Cancellation Fee

• More than 5 weeks before the test: You’ll receive a refund, minus a 25% administrative fee.
• Less than 5 weeks before the test: No refund will be issued.
• No-show on the test day: No refund, and it’s treated as a cancellation.

IELTS Rescheduling Fee

Candidates looking to change their test schedule must submit their application at least 5 weeks before the scheduled examination. The new test date can be set within 3 months of the initial booking. A rescheduling charge of INR 4,500, which includes taxes, is applicable. This modification is permitted only once, and fees will not be reimbursed if the candidate fails to appear for the rescheduled test.

Both cancellation and rescheduling requests can be submitted via your candidate profile, using credit or debit cards for online transactions.
